Home to the ancient temples of Angkor — the world's largest religious monument and one of humanity's greatest architectural achievements, set amid a vast jungle landscape.
About Siem Reap
For over five centuries, Siem Reap was the beating heart of the Khmer Empire — the most powerful civilisation in Southeast Asia. The temples they left behind are staggering in their scale, their artistry, and their ambition. Angkor Wat alone took 30 years to build and remains the largest religious structure ever constructed.
But the Angkor Archaeological Park is far more than a single temple. Spread across 400 square kilometres of jungle, it contains over a thousand ancient structures — from the iconic towers of Angkor Wat and the enigmatic faces of Bayon to the remote jungle ruins of Beng Mealea, where tree roots have swallowed entire walls.
Siem Reap town itself has blossomed into one of Southeast Asia's most charming destinations — a place of excellent restaurants, silk workshops, night markets, and Apsara dance performances. It is a destination that rewards those who stay long enough to go beyond the obvious.

What Awaits
The world's largest religious monument is at its most transcendent in the first light of dawn. A private sunrise visit — before the crowds arrive — is one of the most profound experiences in all of Asia.
At the heart of Angkor Thom, 216 serene stone faces gaze out in every direction from the towers of Bayon. In the soft morning light, the effect is otherworldly — a moment that stays with you for life.
Where the jungle has reclaimed the stone — vast fig trees split ancient walls and roots embrace carved doorways. Ta Prohm and Beng Mealea offer a glimpse of Angkor as early explorers first found it.
Beyond the temples, Siem Reap is a vibrant town of silk weavers, Apsara dance performances, night markets, and some of Cambodia's finest restaurants. The perfect base for a deeper cultural immersion.
